Extra Ordinary!!!

Othello stands out from the other characters for quite a few reasons. First of all he is a Moor. This means he is from Africa and is black. He is often made fun of and judged unfairly because of this. In fact, Othello is accused of using magic and is treated like he is lower class by a few of the characters. Furthermore,Othello is an accomplished leader of the military. He has won many battles and is respected for his expert leading skills and knowledge. Othello seems to be the hero of the story. His tragic flaw is that he is jealous and suspisios of others. This makes it easy for Iago to trick Othello into believing that Desdemona is cheating on him. This flaw leads him to his self-inflicted doom.
